"The programme forced me to rethink how I make decisions under pressure. Three months later, our division's retention rate climbed by 22%." — Director of Operations, UK logistics firm (2024 cohort)

of training senior leaders across 14 industries in the UK.

We have worked with 73 organisations since 2019.

Executive Leadership Training grounded in principles, not platitudes

Most leadership courses hand you a binder of frameworks and send you home. We do something different. ExecWise Solutions runs intensive, small-cohort programmes where every exercise maps directly to a decision you will face in the next quarter. No role-playing fictional scenarios. No motivational speeches disguised as curriculum.

Our trainers have held P&L responsibility. They have fired people, restructured teams, and navigated regulatory crises. That lived experience shapes every session we deliver.

The result is a leader who can articulate a clear rationale for hard choices, build genuine trust inside a team, and sustain performance when the operating environment shifts beneath them.

Five principles that shape every programme

These are not slogans. They are commitments we test ourselves against at the end of each cohort.

Decisions over theory

Every module ends with a live decision exercise drawn from the participant's own organisation. We do not grade essays. We observe how you weigh trade-offs, communicate risk, and commit to a course of action when the data is incomplete.

"I expected case studies. Instead they asked me to bring my own budget conflict. We solved it in the room." — VP Finance, healthcare group

Small groups, honest feedback

Cohorts cap at twelve. Participants come from different sectors so there is no competitive tension. Feedback is direct, structured, and delivered by peers as well as facilitators. You will hear things your direct reports will never say.

Measurable shift

We run a 360-degree diagnostic before and 90 days after every programme. If there is no measurable change in at least three leadership behaviours, we extend the coaching at no extra cost. That has happened twice in six years.

Context over curriculum

We build each programme around the participant's industry, regulatory landscape, and team structure. A programme for a fintech CTO looks nothing like one for a regional NHS trust director, even though both address the same core leadership competencies.

Long-term relationship

Training is not a transaction. Every participant gets access to quarterly check-in calls for a full year after the programme ends. Roughly 40% of our clients return for a second engagement within 18 months.

The gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it is where leaders fail

Our programmes close that gap. We rehearse difficult conversations, simulate board-level pressure, and coach participants through real-time feedback loops until the new behaviour becomes instinct, not intention.

This is not about adding another credential to your LinkedIn profile. It is about changing how you show up when the stakes are high.

Capability map

Choose the engagement format that matches your organisation's needs. All formats include the 360-degree diagnostic and 12 months of post-programme check-ins.

Format Duration Cohort size Delivery Focus areas
Intensive sprint 5 consecutive days 6–8 In-person, UK venue Decision-making under uncertainty, stakeholder alignment, crisis communication
Modular programme 8 weeks (one day per week) 8–12 Hybrid Strategic thinking, team trust, performance coaching, conflict resolution
One-to-one coaching 10 sessions over 4 months 1 Video or in-person Tailored to the leader's 360 diagnostic results
Board advisory Ongoing retainer Board members Quarterly sessions Board dynamics, governance clarity, succession readiness

"After the modular programme, our senior team's engagement scores rose from 58% to 79% in one cycle." — Chief People Officer, mid-market retail chain

Your journey with us

From first conversation to long-term impact, here is what the process looks like.

Discovery call

A 30-minute conversation where we learn about your organisation, the leaders involved, and the specific outcomes you want. No sales pitch. If we are not the right fit, we will say so.

360-degree diagnostic

Each participant completes a structured assessment. We also gather feedback from their direct reports, peers, and line manager. This data shapes the programme content.

Programme design

We build the curriculum around the diagnostic results, the organisation's strategic priorities, and the industry context. You review and approve the plan before we begin.

Delivery

Sessions run in the format you chose. Each day includes live exercises, peer feedback rounds, and structured reflection. We adjust the pace based on the group's progress.

90-day follow-up diagnostic

We re-run the 360 assessment and produce a comparative report. You see exactly which behaviours shifted and by how much.

Ongoing check-ins

Quarterly calls for 12 months. Participants bring real challenges from their current role, and we coach through them in real time.

Who this is for

Our programmes are designed for people who already hold significant responsibility and want to lead more effectively, not for those seeking their first management role.

Typical participants include:

  • C-suite executives navigating organisational change or growth
  • Divisional directors stepping into broader strategic roles
  • Founders transitioning from operator to leader as their company scales
  • Board members seeking sharper governance and succession practices
  • Senior public-sector leaders managing complex stakeholder landscapes

If you are unsure whether the programme suits your situation, the discovery call exists precisely for that conversation.

Common questions

Answers to the things people ask most before signing up.

How much does a programme cost?
Pricing depends on the format and cohort size. The intensive sprint for a group of eight typically falls between £18,000 and £24,000. One-to-one coaching is priced per session at £650. We provide a detailed quote after the discovery call.
Can the programme run at our offices?
Yes. We deliver on-site across England and can arrange venues in Scotland and Wales for an additional travel fee. Many clients prefer an off-site location to reduce day-to-day interruptions; we can recommend venues we have used before.
What industries do you work with?
We have delivered programmes in financial services, healthcare, logistics, technology, retail, energy, professional services, higher education, local government, and manufacturing. The leadership competencies we train are universal; the exercises and case material are always sector-specific.
Is there pre-work involved?
Participants complete the 360 diagnostic and a short self-assessment questionnaire before the programme starts. This usually takes around 45 minutes. We also ask them to identify one current leadership challenge they want to work on during the sessions.
What if a participant cannot attend a session?
For the modular programme, we offer a catch-up session within two weeks. For the intensive sprint, missing a day is more disruptive, so we ask participants to clear their schedules fully before committing.
